Kyiv International Economic Forum (KIEF) is one of the biggest international forums in Eastern Europe that brings together representatives of business, government and society to discuss key economic issues and global trends. The project was founded by a Ukrainian entrepreneur, founder of UFuture holding and UNIT.City innovation park Vasyl Khmelnytsky to promote the integration of Ukraine into the global community as an equal and promising actor. Our team was perfect for the project because we already knew all the ins and outs of such events. The puzzle pieces came together perfectly.
Managing five social network accounts of Kyiv International Economic Forum 2022 during and after the event. We had a goal to draw the attention of Ukrainian businesses on social networks, highlight important insights and the event’s main principles as well as turn the audience’s attention to critical issues that Ukrainian businesses are facing at the moment. The most important thing was to provide SMM support for the Forum on five platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Telegram.
This is why this event is an important news source for representatives of the government, business and society. Dozens of discussion panels and activities took place every day, so the team had to promptly cover them on five social networks.
To overcome this challenge, we have done some serious preparation, divided the project into three stages (“before”, “during” and “after”) and planned them out in so much detail that each member of the team became an individual unit of the whole automated process. What else is there to say? Kudos to us, we’ve risen to the occasion.
We came up with a social network ecosystem that helped divide the project into stages, write out all communication types in detail and precisely plan their interaction with one another. Based on that, we created a not-too-shabby content plan that added promptness and preciseness to planning before, during and after the event. This way, we managed to prepare things in advance, see the task statuses, oversee timely posting of publications and monitor the number of covered panels and partners.
We adapted content for each social network: texts (languages: Ukrainian + English, titles, wording, meaning) and various visual templates. We created a personal quirk for each partner to increase the audience's interest in content and brilliantly (successfully) executed cooperation with companies.
Divchata Agency handled the production of content: photos, videos, design and motion design. We took on everything. We even added some live effects through creation of mobile photos and videos. During the event, it was really necessary to cover the most important insights in real time mode on all social network accounts of the Forum. So, we turned to our collective “SMM gut feeling” to understand which post needed to be released first.
Out of all the content, what would perform well? Then, it was about how quickly the content was posted. As soon as the guests ended their speeches, social network users were already reading posts with relevant titles and discussion panel insights. Effective communication on behalf of the brand helped re-energize an already existing community and draw the attention of many other people who shared content from the KIEF accounts and generated their own content while mentioning us.
Communication after the project is an important part of every event. It’s impossible to just put out all the information in one day. It’s important to understand how to distribute what has already been created and what will be created so that you don’t lose your audience, engagement and reach. With that in mind, we held an aesthetically-informational brainstorming session and created a post layout so that everyone who went to the KIEF page would want to click on the important stuff, and we feel like we’ve succeeded at that.
Our team handled all social network communication for KIEF 2022 “A Winning Ukraine” in Kyiv during the war. We created content for five social networks: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Telegram. In addition to impressing the customer, the outcome surprised us, too. We dove deep into economics and talked about the forum events using simple and understandable language, and we did it everywhere a Ukrainian or a foreign reader could see it.
